It is heavily under development, I’m working on imporving the functionalities, adding text detection and speak out, recently got to know about a device[OrCam Eye] with same concept at: https://www.orcam.com/en/
Blind’s Partner is an Android app to help blind’s in their day to day life. It is completely controlled by speech and provides speech output. It provides many abilities like
- identifying objects in image.
- finding walkable free space.
- finding an object like chair/bottle.
- speech output in Hindi, Gujarati or English.
- calling/messaging through speech command.
- reading out current news.
- navigating user to places.
